Incredibly buzzed to absorb this fresh remix album by my favorite duo. Isn't it any wonder the remixes turned out so interestingly. Abdominal & The Obliques remix of 'Dirt' translates perfectly into a super cool, jazzy celebration of vocal harmony and instrumental panache. As, where 'Forged From Hardship'- Dutty Moonshine Big Band Remix, offers a larger than life array of live brass & double bass instrumentation, kicking beats & slick scratch that has me reeling from the initial listen. ~X~ Miff Morris

I was having a real rough time of life, at the time that this dropped. I wasn't dieing or anything. But we all have bad times, you know? I had (still do have) a lot of time for these two gents. As soon as I gave the album a whirl, I got back a bit of the energy I had when someone first put me onto Music for the Mature B-Boy, many moons back by then. The record genuinely helped me get through a rough time, and I'll always owe Abs and Format a beer for that.
Cheers for that, dudes. laser_owl
